I am 20 weeks along, Baby Titus is healthy, and there is no better way to describe my feelings this morning than “a kid on Christmas” (!!!!)
I could not fall asleep last night and I was up at 6:15 this morning. The rest of my family, including the pups, is still asleep, but I think I am feeling too much excitement and anxiousness inside!!
My family arrived in town yesterday afternoon. We went to pick up the Baby cake (!!!) and have dinner together. Ben’s parents will join us later this morning for brunch, cake, and the ultrasound DVD. I cannot wait to cut that cake!!
Ben and I have decided that, with the exception of our families, we want to keep the gender a secret until the shower for Baby Titus. I am sure that inquiring minds will be disappointed with this news, but we have thought about it and decided this is how we would like to do it. It will be a fun surprise to reveal the gender of Baby Titus at the Baby Shower.
One of the most beneficial and valuable gifts we can give to ourselves in this life: is allowing ourselves to be surprised! ~C. JoyBell
