Baby Workout 10Baby Workout 11

I have been in Southern Indiana since Monday.  Each day Baby Titus and I have gone running, and each day I feel a tiny bit stronger, like I can go a just bit further, or tackle a few more hills.  Tonight we took a different route and tackled a new hill.

The quote on my first picture (after my Tuesday morning run) could not be more accurate in describing how I feel when running.  Baby Titus has made me quite a turtle, but I am totally okay with that.  I am no longer running for time or distance, rather for my health and the health of Baby Titus.

I’m slower than a herd of turtles stampeding through peanut butter, but I run.

Today I spent a bit of time in the sun over lunch.  I enjoyed my Subway outside in hopes of getting some more color on my shoulders.  And an exciting surprise in my Subway lunch – Free Cookie Day (!!!)  I never used to be a big fan of this day, but Baby Titus sure does love it now!

After some time in the sun, Sis KT and I went together to get pedicures.  It was nice to relax and even nicer to spend some quality time with KT today.  I still had a gift card from my birthday last year, so that made it even better!!

While my toenails dried before my run, I spent some time in the kitchen making a special festive treat for my family!!!

Ben and I spent the Fourth 2012 at The Rathskellar with his parents last year.  I am excited that we are alternating and will be spending the Fourth 2013 in Southern Indiana with my family this year.  We had a fantastic time last year and I expect nothing less this year!!

Enjoy the Fourth!!
