What a fun day! As a birthday gift for Ben’s dad, we purchased tickets to the 17th Annual Indiana Microbrewers Fest – or Beer Fest. I think we decided that this will be his birthday gift every year! We had such a great time at the Beer Fest yesterday – and I do not even drink beer (!!!)
Each person gets a small glass at the entrance. There are tents set up all around Optimist Park in Broad Ripple. Each tent fills your glass with a small sample of beer. I wish we would have kept track of how many times Ben, Bev, and Tony filled their glasses up yesterday!
There were tons of people, lots of beer, and loads of fun! I did not drink beer, but I had my own plan which worked out well.
^ You may have noticed this guy in an earlier picture above; I do not know him, which makes this picture quite interesting – Beer Fest 2012
What a fun day with my in-laws! I think we all had a blast!
Ben and I continued the fun at Broad Ripple Tavern with some friends after the Fest. It was an all-around exciting day (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
I am enjoying this weekend in Indy, but already missing my parents, my sister, and Puppy Soph ~ I am looking very forward to seeing all of them.
My family and I have been through a lot together; I am a part of the Titus family now, too, and have gone through a lot with them – Lots of Highs and Lows. Family is so important and I am thankful for mine every single day. I know that they will be there for me always, no matter what.
Enjoy your Sunday evening. Ben and I are going to grill out and then watch Big Brother, which we are very excited about.
