Extremely Proud to be an American today & always ~
Happy Fourth of July
I am excited to be spending the Fourth of July with Ben in Indy. Lilly and I made the drive last night after swim lessons. We are looking forward to our festivities tonight, but I will recap those tomorrow on Turbo Teacher.
Check out my Fourth of July post from two years ago. I really need to bust out those rollerblades again very soon (!!)
Even though I miss the gym today and cannot wait to get back there, it was wonderful to start off the morning with a P90X workout with Ben. We went with P90X Back and Biceps for our Fourth Workout –>
Tony Horton calls these the Glamour Muscles. As usual, Ben and I pushed each other through the workout and I am glad we did it.
Ben probably did more pushing than I did. I am very sore today and kept trying to use this as an excuse. It was hard to get into workout zone today, but I pushed through. My 12 lb. weights felt like 20 lbs. today (!!!)
Ben kept me going, but I did stop with ten minutes of the workout to go. I am okay with this, though, because it was still a great workout for me. Every workout helps, big or small, long or short – I got my heart rate goin’ and I worked those Glamour Muscles (!!!)
Thanks for encouraging me to workout today. I am glad I did it now. I couldn’t have done it without you. ~Ben Titus, post P90X
It is now 10:00a and we have the rest of the day ahead of us, until the Fourth Festivities begin. We will spend some of this time today packing and preparing for our weekend boat and cabin trip to Patoka Lake. More about this trip on an upcoming post.
And I will also explain these pictures soon —
We started this project when I was up here a few weeks ago and we will be finishing it up today. Lots of work, but excited about this (!!)
For those considering a workout today –>
