New Year 2010 and New Year 2011

^ This is why I love blogging ~ it is a journal for me and I am always able to look back on my life with just a click of the date.  I do not do it often, but sometimes I find myself lost in my blog, looking back and reading about my life of the past two years.  I cannot believe I have been blogging for two entire years now – Turbo Teacher has come such a long way!

Yesterday, when I posted New Year 2012, it was the busiest day Turbo Teacher has ever seen, with over 200 hits!  A big Thank You to my readers!!  Even if you were not reading, I would still do this, as a way to look back on where I have been, things I have learned, and progress I have made.  But it is an awesome feeling to know that so many people are reading! 

In January 2010, Turbo Teacher averaged 30 readers per day & this January 2012, which has just begun, there is an average of 150 per day!!  I am so excited about these stats – and again, Thank You to my readers.

Do you have any New Year resolutions for 2012?

A lot of people get really into the resolutions, making lists of goals and tasks to accomplish during the new year.  For some reason, I have a tough time doing this.  Maybe it is because I do it so often anyway?  I am always setting goals, always making lists and writing things out that I want to accomplish within the next week, or month…

If I want to do something, I will set my mind to it and get it done anytime of the year, not just at the beginning of a brand new year.

Do not get me wrong, because I do think resolutions are great – and I love hearing about the resolutions and goals of those around me.  And I think that the beginning of the New Year is a great time to start achieving and it definitely gives many people extra motivation ~ of course it does, look how busy your gym just got!!  But if I were asked to sit down and write out a list of my resolutions, I might be easily stumped.

There are constantly things I want to change about myself and my life and goals that I strive to achieve ~ I consider myself a very goal oriented person.  Of course, one of my goals is to get in better shape, but that is always a goal of mine & I am always striving to make my body more healthy. 

I am mostly just ready to get back to my regular eating schedule, after Christmas, Jamaica, and being home for break.  My body feels gross inside and I can tell I have been slacking on the healthful eating.  As Ben and I ate the airport food, on the way home Sunday (which gave me a stomach ache later), we both discussed how excited we were to have Shakeology again.  Ben actually brought it up before me!!

I plan to start a hybrid schedule of P90X and Insanity within the next week.  I hope to have some motivation from Challengers working the program with me!!  I totally want to stick with it for the full 90 days, and I plan to take progress pictures all along the way.  I want my body to look and feel healthy, on the inside and outside!
