Tuesday thoughts –> First of all ~ Life is crazy, right?  Second of all ~ I truly dislike change of any type…

I am such a creature of habit.  I am realizing lately, more than ever, that I dislike change very much.  I do not welcome changes, as some people do…

Change actually makes me very nervous ~ it is so overwhelming.  I have the same routine every single day of the week – from the moment I get out of my bed in the morning, to the time I go to sleep at night.  When this routine changes, or any type of change occurs in my life, I stress out and my mood goes straight to Negative Nancy ~ ask Ben, he will agree I am sure.

I am sure that this will change as I have my own family and life changes happen more frequently – but for right now, these are my thoughts.

There are many changes taking place right now, mostly in my school life – and they are really getting the best of my emotions.  I need to work on accepting changes in a more positive way.  Like I said, maybe with time…

I am tending to ignore the changes taking place and I have not really allowed myself to truly think about it with emotion.  In the long run, I think this approach makes things harder for me & actually causes more tears and worry ~ but it is just what I do and how I deal.

Do you welcome changes in positive way?  Does change overwhelm you?

Monday Dinner

Last night, Ben & I both brought our work home with us, so we decided a quick dinner was in order.  Ben warmed up left over pizza…

I decided on pizza also, but of a much different variety…

^ Presenting – Pizza Bread

^ Pizza Bread ingredients

KT and I both love this healthy snack.  Last night I paired it with Progresso Light Roasted Chicken & Veggie Soup (1/2 can)

^ And of course, some Stacy’s Pita Chips

^ My soup looks disgusting in that pic, but it was actually delicious.  I am excited to enjoy the other half very soon…

Last night, a reader asked for more info about what I eat for breakfast and dinner, since we know I do a Shake for lunch.  I am excited to start sharing some more dinner pictures.  I am sure many people will think my dinner quality is ridiculous, but please keep in mind –>

I do can not cook.  I do can not follow recipes.

Another reader told me that she loves this blog, even though we have very different ideas on food quality.  That is perfectly fine ~  I am very aware that there are not too many people who eat the way I do!  There are probably not too many people who would make Pizza Bread for dinner ~ But it was strange because KT & I both made it last night without knowing!

Anyway ~ Enough about food for right now…

For all teachers reading this post – This next picture is for you.

Today as I was teaching Social Studies, about the New England colonies and the Puritans, I noticed this at the bottom of the teacher page and I just had to laugh to myself –> and also roll my eyes and also snap a picture…

^ I would go crazy if I actually had enough time to do this!

I wanted a perfect ending. Now I’ve learned, the hard way, that some poems don’t rhyme, and some stories don’t have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what’s going to happen next.
