What a wonderful Thanksgiving Day!
For our Thanksgiving lunch, we joined my dad’s side of the family ~ which was only a few minutes away.
A variety delicious foods to enjoy!
^ Check out those pretzel rods! Yum!
Thanksgiving Lunch for me consisted of turkey, potatoes & gravy, carrots, and 3 helpings of green beans. Desert at lunch was a pretzel rod, a small piece of pumpkin bread, and a large scoop of ice cream. Yum!
And lots of game playing throughout the day…
After lunch and some games, we headed over to my mom’s side for our Thanksgiving Dinner. Again, only a few minutes away.
Thanksgiving Dinner for me included turkey, ham, potatoes, a small helping of mac-n-cheese, green beans, zucchini and squash. Dessert was three amazingly yummy oreo balls made by my cousins and a pretzel rod – I ate the chocolate side only! I threw the plain half away…
Oh, and I had to try one of these little critters ~
Mice – made from chocolate-covered cherries, a Kiss, and two almonds for the tiny ears. Almost too cute to eat!! … But not quite!
I am the most thankful for my family. They are all very loving & supportive, and we are a small, close-knit family. I loved spending yesterday with all of them ~ such a great time. They are wonderful and I am truly blessed! I am so thankful for them ~ on Thanksgiving & every day.
A wonderful day full of delicious indulgences! Ready & motivated for a great workout later today.
Make it a habit to tell people thank you. To express your appreciation, sincerely and without the expectation of anything in return. Truly appreciate those around you, and you’ll soon find many others around you. Truly appreciate life, and you’ll find that you have more of it. ~Ralph Marston
