Happy Thanksgiving to family and friends!

And teachers…

This is what my students presented to me at the end of the day.  One of my little girls asked the students to come up with reasons they were thankful for Mrs. Titus, and then she compiled all the lists into one giant list ~

And then they posted it on my door…

Please notice that I am a very “open-hearted” person.  What a great quality to have, right!?  Are you an open-hearted person??

I am assuming they mixed “kind-hearted” and “open-minded” but I can never be sure.  They are so sweet!!  I love it.

We headed to Southern Indiana yesterday evening around 5:00p.  It is a three hour drive and we always stop for snacks on the way…

Despite the high amounts of sodium, Beef Jerky is actually a fairly healthy choice for a gas-station snack.  We went with Teriyaki flavor this time, but we always switch it up.  And I must always have a Diet Mountain for the drive.  I don’t know why I feel this need for a DMD while traveling.  I always look forward to our snack stop, though.

We arrived around 8:00p and it was so great to see my fam, even though they were just in Indy a few days ago.  I love them so much!  I am so happy being home with them for a long weekend.

After a late dinner, I started my baking right away!

^ Ben was the taste-tester –> He says they were great!

By the time I was done making them, I did not even want to taste one.  I “sampled” so much of the white melted chocolate while I was making them that I did not even care to try one, but I will definitely have one today!!

KT and I finished our morning workout just a while ago.  Mine consisted of the treadmill, arm exercises, push-ups, and P90X Ab Ripper X.  It was a great Thanksgiving workout ~ definitely better than nothing!

We usually do the Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving, but decided to come up with our own workout this year.  I still wore my Turkey Trot shirt, though…

We are now heading out for Thanksgiving lunch with my dad’s side and then dinner with my mom’s side.  It will be a great day with special people!

Thanksgiving Recap Eats and Treats coming tomorrow.

Happy Thanksgiving!
