Happy Valentine’s Day, Bloggies!!  :)

Ben & I stayed in for our Valentine’s dinner this year ~ we usually do every year.  Not only is it Valentine’s Day, but today we have been engaged for exactly one year!! 

We def kept it simple and casual, but everything was wonderful, delish, perfect!

For dinner, Ben cooked up his chicken parmesean dish.  I stuck with grilled chicken and topped it with some of his marinara sauce.  We had rice and green beanies and bread to accompany the chicken ~ Delish!!

And I was in charge of our salads tonight!


My Plate

I cleaned my plate tonight and then went back for a second serving of green beanies.  Everything tasted amazing ~  Ben is such a good cook!!!  Did you eat anything special tonight for Valentine’s Day? 

I made sure to squeeze a workout in earlier today, because I knew dinner would be big and amazing!  My workout was kind of strange, but I did not really have a lot of power today.  I did half of Insanity Plyometric Cardio Circuit and half of Turbo Jam Cardio Party Remix.  It ended up being about 35 minutes of cardio – but that is all my body was wanting me to do today, so I left it at that…

My workouts may start looking a little strange – like 1/2 of this DVD and 1/2 of that DVD plus part of this, that, and the other.  Why?  Well, you might remember me mentioning the fact that a friend from home was borrowing Insanity to burn for herself and KT.  She went the extra mile and burnt KT and I all the Beachbody Chalean Extreme DVDs!!  I was so pumped and could not thank her enough!! 

These DVDs are perfect for me right now because they are full of weights and strength training exercises!  I am pumped to try them out, but still want to keep my Insanity / Gymmie routines going.  When I look at all my new workout DVDs, it is so hard to choose one ~ which will explain the 1/2 DVD workouts!

Chalean Extreme

Yesterday Ben, KT, and I did Insanity Cardio Power and Resistance.  It was KT’s first Insanity workout ~ She loved it and agreed it was insane!  We followed the madness with Chalean Extreme – Extreme Abs and it was pretty hardcore!!  An awesome ab workout.  I am so pumped to try out the rest of these DVDs!  Do you ever do workout DVDs instead of doing the gymmie thing?  What is your fav at-home workout DVD??  Please share!
